Browns taking Allen first?

First things first, I believe everything I read and hear at this time of the year as it pertains to the NFL Draft. It’s just people putting out facts left and right about any given team’s plans for the annual televised business meeting.

So, take this with a grain of salt. According to NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah, the Cleveland Bronws are leaning towards taking Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen with the first-overall pick.

“Just in talking to people around the league. It really picked up in the last week. A lot of people telling me, ‘Hey, I think it’s going to be Josh Allen.’ It’s either guys that have worked with John Dorsey or guys that are familiar with that room,” Jeremiah said.

One thing that’s virtually guaranteed is that the Browns will be taking a quarterback with either the first-overall pick or the fourth-overall pick. Who they choose and where is anyone’s guess. If the next Joe Montana is waiting for them at the fourth pick, expected them to trade down and then select an outside linebacker that can’t play.

Go Browns!
