Patterson dealt to Patriots

After four years with the Minnesota Vikings, Cordarrelle Patterson spent 2017 with the Oakland Raiders. He’s made some big plays on special teams over the years, but he never became the receiver the Vikings thought he would be when they took him in the first round in 2013, but he is a good guy on teams.

Now, Patterson is going to have to be a good guy on teams outside of Oakland. According to Michael Gehlken, the Raiders have shipped him to the New England Patriots.

“Raiders trading WR Cordarrelle Patterson to Patriots, source confirms. NE didn’t shy away from kickoff returners in 2017. Until they faced Patterson in Week 11. Six touchbacks. @PardonMyTake first reported deal,” Gehlken tweets.

You watch, Brady will turn him into Randy Moss in 2007. I wouldn’t be surprised. Okay, that’s probably a bit of an exaggeration, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see him get more of a look on offense.
