Matthews visited Cardinals

It’s been a bit of a fall from grace for Jordan Matthews. After a few nice years in Philadelphia, he was sent to the Buffalo Bills with a third-round pick in exchange for Ronald Darby.

After 10 non-descript games in Buffalo, the Bills let him walk after the season. And we haven’t heard much going on until now. According to Aaron Wilson, Matthews was seen flirting with the Arizona Cardinals.

“Jordan Matthews visited the Cardinals,” Wilson tweets.

I’m not sure why this would be a good fit for him, unless he thinks Larry Fitzgerald is really going to retire soon. Fits is locked into the slot in Arizona, and that’s Matthews best position.

I think the Cardinals would be wasting their money to sign Matthews. Then again, they just gave $20 million to Sam Bradford, so maybe let the idiocy continue.
