Godwin to start for Bucs

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been a colossal disappointment this year. They were supposed to contend for the NFC South this season, but it would seem that every other team in the division is in the running to with the South except them. So, there’s that.

Like every team, injuries are mounting up. At wide receiver, DeSean Jackson has been ruled out for this week’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

That means that former Penn Stater Chris Godwin will get the call (if he balls, he’ll get another call…god I hate Deion Sanders). The rookie last started in Week 10 when Mike Evans was suspended for a game.

I like Godwin. He was a baller at Penn State and I’d love to see him blossom at the pro level. If he can step up and be a player, the Bucs have an insane situation at wide receiver with Evans and Jackson.
