Dak looks bad again, but relax

First of all, I’m not someone who is going to join the troubling chorus of “Dak is just okay without Zeke.” I don’t believe that to be true of the Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback.

But, the truth is that he wasn’t very good again on Thanksgiving in a brutal loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He was 20-27, which is good, but it only got him 179 yards and he threw no touchdowns to go with a pair of picks. One was a pick six.

The entire Cowboys team has gone in the toilet. I’m not sure why. It doesn’t help that they were without Tyron Smith the last couple of weeks, but he played on Thursday. He’s probably not fully healthy, but he did play.

They are also without Sean Lee, Ezekiel Elliott and Dan Bailey. That’s a lot of injuries mounting up and that can be difficult if you’re not deep. The Cowboys are, apparently, not that deep.

So now, it all falls on Dak Prescott. Why isn’t he doing more? Why isn’t he running more? Why is turning the ball over? All valid questions, but I don’t think it’s time to press the panic button.

Press the panic button on the season? Oh god yeah. Panic button on Dak? Absolutely not.
