DRC suspended indefinitely

The New York Giants are an unmitigated mess. And it’s mostly because of the offense, which has seen about 12 wide receivers go down for the season.

But, whatever the issue is with Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is, it isn’t helping the team. DRC showed up to the team facility on Tuesday, met with head coach Ben McAdoo and then promptly left the facility. I’m not sure what the issue is, but he got suspended.

For how long? Well, Art Stapleton found out.

“Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie came in to meet with Ben McAdoo this morning and was informed he is suspended indefinitely. #Giants,” Stapleton tweets.

This isn’t good. Technically, the team can only suspend him for a maximum of four games, but that’s kind of irrelevant right now. What the G-Men need to figure out is why their team is in such disarray. You can’t blame the offensive line and lack of a running game for DRC’s behavior.

It’s probably time to blow this thing up bigly. General manager Jerry Reese should go, as should McAdoo. Do you keep going with Eli? It’s not that he can’t play, but a team like the Jacksonville Jaguars might love to have him. Remember who their general manager is (Tom Coughlin) and they are about a quarterback away from being a contending team.
