Tough to believe, but Jets just got worse

The New York Jets might have been the worst team in the NFL before Monday. Now, the just got worse.

According to Adam Schefter, the Jets will send Quincy Enunwa, the team’s clear-cut number-one wide receiver, to injured reserve with a neck injury.

“Big loss: Jets are placing WR Quincy Enunwa on injured reserve with a neck injury, per source,” Schefter tweets.

If you thought they were tough to watch with Enunwa, well they might be one of the worst train wrecks the league has seen in some time. Could they be 2008 Detroit Lions bad? I’m not sure they’ll go 0-16, but watching them on a regular basis will be horrific.

That leaves second-year undrafted free agent Robby Anderson as the team’s No. 1. I was going to say that you’re hoping Devin Smith turns into something, but he caught one pass last season, blew out his knee in the offseason program and was waived with an injury settlement.
