Tannehill out for the year?

This isn’t good. The Miami Dolphins are currently in the midst of quite a scare with their starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Tannehill stepped awkwardly while scrambling out of bounds during Thursday’s practice and injured his left knee.

And it doesn’t look good.

“It’s not much, but it is a sign of their state of mind: Dolphins are “concerned” about Ryan Tannehill’s left knee injury, per league source,” tweets Adam Schefter.

Armando Salguero adds that the Dolphins are “fearing the worst.”

This is very bad news. Tannehill had a partial ACL tear in this same knee last season. He may have ripped it completely this time and that would knock him out for the entire season. I’m not sure what you thought of the Dolphins hopes this year, but you could erase them if he misses the season.

Unless Matt Moore suddenly becomes Kurt Warner in 1999.
