Steelers cut Ladarius

Last March, the Pittsburgh Steelers signed former San Diego Chargers tight end Ladarius Green to a four-year, $20 million contract. If you really believed he’d see all that money I’ve got a swamp to sell you in Brooklyn.

The Steelers apparently have seen enough. After an injury-plagued season in which he played just six games, the Steelers have released the athletic tight end.

The reason was apparently for a failed physical. He’s just hurt all the time and retirement rumors probably didn’t help. It’s a shame because he could be so good.

Looks like the Steelers are content to roll with Jesse James. As they should, he was pretty productive last year.
