Rizzo should be OK

On Sunday, Chicago Cubs stud first baseman Anthony Rizzo provided the local fans with quite a scare. New York Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman popped one off of his forearm and it couldn’t have felt good.

Good news for Cubs fans, it looks like Rizzo is going to be okay. X-rays taken didn’t show any damage, so it’s really a matter of just dealing with soreness.

“Luckily, there’s nothing significant,” said Rizzo. “I thank my parents I drank my milk when I was a kid and have some decent bones.”

Rizzo took some Tylenol after the hit and played another nine innings in what would be an 18-inning game. He’s not expected to miss any time.
