Luck’s surgery for 2015 injury
- Updated: April 17, 2017
This doesn’t sound very good. Andrew Luck recently had surgery on his shoulder. That’s not unusual for an NFL player to have offseason surgery to get healthy and ready for the next season.
However, according to Mike Wells of ESPN, it’s for an injury that occurred early in the 2015 season.
“Andrew Luck acknowledged that he originally injured his right shoulder against the Tennessee Titans in Week 3 of… ,” tweets Wells, apparently continuing with “2015” in another tweet or a link or something.
Luck missed the first two starts of his career at that point and it’s amazing they would let it linger this long. They’d be trying the rest and relaxation option, but clearly that hasn’t worked.
So, surgery it is. He might not be ready for the start of training camp, but he’s insisting he’ll be good for Week 1.
