Thielen gets paid

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver had a breakout season in 2016. After catching 20 passes in his first 32 games in the NFL, catching 69 (hehe) passes for 967 yards and five touchdowns.
The Vikings apparently noticed and rewarded him with a three-year deal, according to Adam Schefter.
“Big restricted free-agent deal: Vikings and WR Adam Thielen reach agreement on three-year deal, per source.
Thielen stays in Minnesota,” tweets Schefter.
It’s for a total of $17 million total, but it can reach $9 million per year with incentives.
Thielen was a restricted free agent tendered at the second-round level. He blew up when he passed the ineffective Charles Johnson on the depth chart. He should have another nice year in 2017 unless Laquan Treadwell magically wakes up.
