Chiefs sign Spiller for some reason
- Updated: February 24, 2017
The Kansas City Chiefs have been through their share of running backs in the last couple of years. When Jamaal Charles is healthy, he’s absolutely dynamite and one of the most explosive backs in the NFL.
However, that hasn’t been the case in recent years and the Chiefs have turned to the likes of Spencer Ware and Charcandrick West. They’ve been fine, but they aren’t Charles.
I’m not sure if they think that C.J. Spiller has something left in the tank, but, according to Terez Paylor, they just signed him.
“The #Chiefs have signed RB C.J. Spiller,” Paylor tweets.
Spiller will be 30-years old soon and has bounced around from the Saints, Jets and Seahawks in recent years, giving none of them anything. I guess it’s worth a one-year “prove it” deal, but I doubt he’ll prove it.
