Bills fire Rex

Welp, that will do it for the Rex Ryan era in Buffalo. After failing to deliver anything resembling a winning football team, the Buffalo Bills have announced that they are moving on from the guy who hasn’t done anything as a head coach since 2010 with the New York Jets.

That means Ryan was the coach of the Bills for less than two years. Anthony Lynn will take over from here and try to prove himself as a head coach in the last game. The Bills brass will surely be impressed.

Ryan is surely finished as a head coach, or least he should be. He can probably find work as a defensive coordinator or maybe as a dude on NFL Network.

I was told by a Jets executive that Ryan is loyal to a fault and doesn’t like confrontation. Those are not head coach qualities.

The Bills are yet again back to the drawing board.
