Gurley thinks Rams have “middle school” offense

The Los Angeles Rams are not a good football team. They are 4-9 and remarkably not in the basement of the division (thanks, San Francisco!). On Sunday, they were absolutely pasted by the Atlanta Falcons 42-14 and it probably wasn’t that close.

Todd Gurley was not a happy camper after the game, saying they “looked like a middle school offense.”

He’s also not convinced that everyone is giving full effort.

“Man, we gotta play,” Gurley said. “I don’t care if we’re out of the playoffs or not. I don’t care. Just come up, show up, play. That’s why we play this game. Show up, play.”

He was then asked specifically if he thinks everyone is showing up to play.

“I don’t,” the running back replied. “I really don’t. We’re just going through the motions. It looks like everybody’s just playing to get through.”

It’s safe to say that there are a lot of unhappy people in the Rams organization these days. It’s also safe to say that major changes could/should be coming in order to get the franchise turned around.
