Thomas has Grade-1 hamstring strain
- Updated: November 21, 2016
The Seattle Seahawks put a pretty nice pounding on the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday 26-15. But, believe me, the game was not nearly as close as the score would indicate. It was a thorough outclassing of their opponent.
But, they didn’t come out unscathed. Earl Thomas went down trying to defend a deep ball and grabbed his hamstring. It didn’t look good.
And, according to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times, it isn’t.
“Carroll says Earl Thomas has a “first-degree’ hamstring says those are usually 10-14 days. says that on @710ESPNSeattle radio show,” Condotta tweets.
I’d shut Thomas down for as long as I think won’t need him. Hamstrings are nasty injuries as they can re-occur at any time and go right back to being awful. I’d be super careful with Thomas, and I’m sure they will.
He’s obviously not expected to play this week.
