Rask out with soreness
- Updated: October 16, 2016
I wish someone would have told me that Boston Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask had some injury issues before I put him in my FanDuel lineup on Saturday night. No wonder he got me zero points in a 4-1 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Rask didn’t play Saturday night due to “soreness,” but we don’t know exactly what that soreness is. It can’t be too bad because he did suit up in the loss to be Anton Khudobin’s backup.
The Bruins play again against the Winnipeg Jets on Monday night, but it’s not known if he’ll be ready to play in that game either. If not, it will be Khudobin in the net again.
Some are speculating that Rask tweaked something in Thursday’s 6-3 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. Sounds like he’s day-to-day.
