Redskins and Dolphins working on Slaton trade?
The Washington Redskins are pretty terrible at running back. They even cut Tim Hightower today, which isn’t a good sign for Hightower because as I just stated, the Redskins are pretty terrible at running back. You are pretty much staring down the barrel of Roy Helu and Evan Royster.
The Miami Dolphins, however, are pretty terrible at wide receiver. An aging Chad Johnson was their best receiver at one point, but they had to cut him when he head butted his wife.
So, maybe they can help each other out.
According to Mike Jones of the Washington Post, they might be planning on doing that. He says that the two teams are considering swapping a crap sandwich with a diarrhea milkshake.
“I’m told #Redskins working on trade sending Armstrong to Miami for RB Steve Slaton,” he tweets.
It’s not that those two are so awful, I was exaggerating a bit. But, neither are going to get either team to a Super Bowl. Or the playoffs. Who knows though? Slaton did have one gang busters season and maybe he can recreate that in Washington.
Just for the record, Anthony Armstrong never had a gang busters season.
