DeCastro busts his knee pretty good
There have been multiple reports regarding the shredding of Pittsburgh Steelers guard David DeCastro’s knee. The bad news is, regardless of who you believe, it’s still really, really bad.
The latest is a source telling PFT that DeCastro a dislocated knee cap, torn MCL and partially torn patellar tendon in his right knee. There simply isn’t a way to sugar coat that.
It’s believed that the Steelers will be without their first-round pick for 3-5 months. Although we’re still not sure how he could come back from all of that this year and be ready to play.
Oh and he hasn’t even had an MRI yet, so things could actually be worse.
