Sheets placed on 15-day DL

For his last three starts or so, Atlanta Braves pitcher has been complete dog dung. Many had speculated that he had a dead arm or whatever you want to call it. The bottom line is that he wasn’t getting it done.

Now, we find out that he has right should inflammation, which would explain a lot. The Braves have placed him on the 15-day DL because of the injury. As of this posting, they have yet to announce a corresponding move.

When Sheets returns, he won’t be guaranteed a spot in the rotation.
