Kolb has two weeks to show what he can do
The Arizona Cardinals are clearly not thrilled that they shipped a second-round pick and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to the Philadelphia Eagles for Kevin Kolb. They are probably less thrilled that they gave him a new contract and picked up a $7 million bonus this past offseason.
So, it’s time for them to see what he can do. According to CBS‘ Jason La Canfora, Kolb will have two weeks to seize the starting QB job.
“… For the next two weeks Kevin Kolb will be given every chance to win the job as Cards starter. We’ll see if he takes advantage,” La Canfora tweets.
So, the big question is: When did La Canfora go to CBS? And who really cares?
Our guess is that Kolb doesn’t get it done. Even if he wins the starting job, he got it over John Skelton, who is hardly Joe Montana. Sorry Cardinals fans, you’re in for another crappy season.
