Four-game suspension coming for Haden?
Sources tell Grossi that Haden tested positive for Adderall during a routine, off-season test. Adderall can be used to treat ADD and narcolepsy, but regardless, the NFL does not allow use of the prescription drug.
The sources say that Haden has been informed of the positive test, and that rules says that they will now re-test the original sample. If that second test yields the same result, Haden will be facing a four-game suspension to start the season.
In case you hadn’t noticed, the Browns can’t afford to be without any talented player for any amount of time.
The four-game suspension would cost Haden $1.356 million in game checks. Ouch.
