Rays activate Longoria from DL

Tampa Bay Rays have yet to see MVP 3B Evan Longoria suit up for them since April 30th. If he never was an MVP then he should have been.

Longoria ripped up his hamstring pretty good and was on the 60-DL. That is…UNTIL NOW! Yes, he’s been activated off of the disabled list and will return to the Rays lineup.

His hammy is still a little on the balky side, so for now he’ll probably be used as a DH. Not that it will really matter for the Rays. Yes, he’ll make them better, but do you really think it matters, Eddie?
