Harvey done in the NFL?

If Derrick Harvey was an undrafted free agent, he’d have been out of football a long time ago. But, he was the eighth-overall pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2008, so people are going to assume he has some ability and will continue to give him chances.

The Denver Broncos were willing to give him a shot, but that didn’t work out. This season the defensive-end-needy Cincinnati Bengals gave him a hot too. But, it looks like that didn’t work out either.

The Bengals have released Harvey, even though they lost Robert Geathers indefinitely following knee surgery. They’ll be eating about $60,000 to make this move.

It’s entirely possible that Harvey has gotten his last shot.
