Rose out until March?

The Chicago Bulls lost in the first round of the playoffs last year to the Philadelphia 76ers, only because their stud Derrick Rose blew out his ACL at the end of Game 1. There is no other way the Sixers could have competed with them.

And that injury could do more than just lose them a playoff series. According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, Rose is likely out until March of next year. We’d link to the story, but the stupid-ass Tribune website is all registered user content and we have no interest in signing up.

Previous reports had Rose out until January, but the injury is still relatively new, so we are a ways off of really knowing.

Rose posted a video saying that he’d be alright, but no one is doubting that. Sure, he’ll be fine at some point, but when will that be? And what will the Bulls record be at that point?
