Colts sign Luck

We’ve been hearing for about five weeks now that the Indianapolis Colts and first-overall pick Andrew Luck were “very close” on a contract. Well now, it’s finally a done deal, according to Mike Chappell on Twitter.

“IT’S DONE. ‪#Colts‬ sign Andrew Luck,” he tweets.

It’s a four-year contract worth $22.1 million, slightly more than what Cam Newton got last year (take that, Cam!). And just like RG III in Washington, there is no offset language so it’s fully guaranteed.

We expect Luck to want to unsign the contract once he gets a whiff of the talent around him. Andrew, they had the first pick for a reason.
