Lin leaving Knicks?

New York Knicks sudden phenom Jeremy Lin is an unrestricted free agent. Given what happened with Linsanity this season, no one would have thought that the Knicks could let him walk. But, we mentioned before that that was a possibility.

Now, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post, that possibility could be becoming a reality.

The Houston Rockets have signed Lin to an offer sheet worth roughly $25.1 million over three years. And Berman says he’s hearing that the Knicks won’t match.

“Another source insists ‪#Knicks‬ won’t match Lin’s offer sheet,” Berman tweets.

The Knicks already have Jason Kidd and Raymond Felton, so maybe there just isn’t room for Lin. But, imagine if the Rockets swing a deal for Dwight Howard and sign Lin? That would put quite a different paint job on their squad.
