Dumervil arrested on felony assault charges

Okay, so we don’t know all the details yet, but this can’t be good. Why do celebrities and athletes insist on still playing with guns? When does that end well?

Denver Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil was arrested on Saturday night in Miami and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm. Yep, that’s a felony.

The Broncos released a statement expressing their elation.

“Our organization is aware of the matter and is continuing to gather the facts,” the team statement says. “This is a very serious allegation, and we will thoroughly review the details while the legal process runs its course.”

We’ll wait to find out more, but what are you doing around guns? Idiot.
