Peterson arrested for…resisting arrest?
The NFL has had some serious off-the-field issues this offseason. Too many guys (all seemingly on the Detroit Lions) have had run-ins with the law. But, one of the few guys that you don’t hear about getting in trouble, actually did.
Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson, according to Houston Chronicle columnist Jerome Solomon, was arrested last night for resisting arrest.
“Breaking news: Vikings RB Adrian Peterson arrested last night in Houston for resisting arrest by HPD. Bond set at $1,000. #hounews,” Solomon tweets.

Okay, so what did he do? To resist arrest, you have to be arrested. Meaning, someone has to have a reason to arrest you. But right now, we just don’t have any other details on what he could have been doing for someone to want to arrest him.
This doesn’t seem like a big deal right now, but we need to find out more. Hopefully Perry can find out more. All this just makes Toby Gerhart a much more attractive option at running back.
Stay tuned.
