Another Bucs cornerback arrested
We already know about the ongoing issues of Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Aqib Talib, who recently lucked out when very serious charges against him were dropped. Even still, because of his previous problems, he could be facing league discipline for bringing harm to the Shield.
And now, another starting Bucs corner could be facing league discipline. Eric Wright was arrested on suspicion of DUI after getting into an “injury accident” near the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Wright himself was not harmed, but the other driver did complain of pain, even though he refused medical treatment.
Wright told the officers he had been drinking earlier at a friend’s home in Hollywood, and would not submit to a Breathalyzer or field sobriety test. That will usually get you arrested.
Wright was booked with a felony because someone was hurt in the accident.
Let’s just hope that Talib doesn’t get jealous of this arrest and try to one-up him.
