Santonio has 25 straight games without 100 yards

We understand that New York Jets WR Santonio Holmes has been frustrated with this production in the last year or so. However, we didn’t realize that things had gotten this bad. Sure, it can suck playing week in and out with Mark Sanchez, but a streak like this we wouldn’t have guessed.

But it’s true. Santonio has gone 25 straight games (including playoff games) without reaching 100 yards. Not once.

Should we expect that to change with the addition of Tim Tebow and a ground-and-pound mentality? Probably not. This is just something to keep in mind from a fantasy perspective.

As of now, we’d have to think that Santonio is a nice find in the 8th round or so of 12-team leagues. Take him higher than that at your own risk. He’ll get you steady points each week, but expecting monster games out of him is a stretch at this point.
