Williams will only sign with Nets or Mavericks?

One of the hottest names in the upcoming NBA free agency circus is New Jersey Nets point guard Deron Williams. Williams is a spectacular all-around point man, and there are tons of teams that would love to get their hands on him.

However, sources tell ESPN that Williams has instructed his agents to tell anyone that calls about him on July 1st (the beginning of free agency), that he only plans on signing with either the Nets or his hometown Dallas Mavericks.

The Nets have the upper hand, however. Not only are they going to make a big marketing splash in their new home of Brooklyn, the Nets can offer Williams a contract one-year longer than Dallas at around $100 million.

That’s really tough to turn down, no?
