If you don’t look up to the cast members of MTV‘s “Jersey Shore” television program, then there is something seriously wrong with you. Whether they are musing about the state of the European financial markets, contemplating ways to solve childhood hunger in Africa or just having an honest and frank discussion about James Joyce’s place in literary history, they are always giving young people some community pillars to view with reverence.

That is, until now. You may or may not have heard that Deena Cortese – probably the hottest chick to ever appear on the show – was arrested for (gasp!) disorderly conduct recently.

You could just about see the millions of young people collectively putting their heads in their hands. How could this happen?

Deena was dancing in the streets outside of a Mexican restaurant when the authorities let her know that they didn’t appreciate it, and took her into custody. OTR will continue to believe that she was just trying to have a public discussion about the real roots of the first world war.

Deena’s arraignment is scheduled for July 3rd. We will continue to rally support for her and her cause.
