Many teams want Nash from Blue Jackets?

We know that Rick Nash doesn’t want to stay in Columbus with the Blue Jackets. Really, who would? They are awful and seem to make worse and worse decisions as the day goes by.

And according to the Columbus Post-Dispatch, they shouldn’t have trouble moving him. Sources tell the paper that some seven teams have had “significant” trade discussions.

The New York Rangers would seem to be the most likely fit for Nash. They have the money and room to handle Nash’s big contract, and they have the young talent that the Blue Jackets will want.

Also rumored to be interested are the Philadelphia Flyers, San Jose Sharks, Carolina Hurricanes and Toronto Maple Leafs.

Look for something to get done later in the week as the draft approaches.
