Bulls expect Rose to play next season
As we watch the Miami Heat battle it out with the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals, one can only imagine what could have been for the Chicago Bulls. Derrick Rose went down with a torn ACL in Game 1 vs. the Philadelphia 76ers and the Bulls lose the series to an inferior team.
What sucks even more is that it was a major injury at the end of the year, so who knows what his status will be for the 2012-13 season.
According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, the Bulls fully expect him to contribute at some point next year.
Ok fine, but when will he be back and how much will he be able to give you? One would have to think that his explosion will be compromised and, when you are talking about leg injuries, that can always kill your jump shot consistency.
We don’t know for sure, but he probably won’t be Derrick Rose for another year or so.
