Drabek felt a popping sensation in elbow
The Toronto Blue Jays are in a difficult situation. Yes, they are only six games out of first place in June, but they are in fourth place and just about every team in the division is competitive at the very least.
So, they can’t afford to be losing starting pitching. And that might be what’s happening here.
During Wednesday’s loss to the Washington Nationals, Kyle Drabek left the mound after feeling a “popping sensation” in his throwing elbow. Eh, thassnogood.
#BlueJays‬ Drabek felt “popping sensation” in his elbow. Tests tmrw. Farrell says he’s in no pain at the moment,” tweets Mike Cormack.
While it’s good that he’s not currently in any pain, we’ll still have to wait for Thursday’s test results. One of the keys to the Roy Halladay trade only has a 4.43 ERA with a 4-6 record, but he’s young and supposed to develop into a solid starter.
