Dolphins sign Ochocinco
We wondered previously if many teams would have any interest in former Cincinnati Bengal and New England Patriot Chad Ochcocinco. Wow, it would seem that we know the answer now.
A source tells PFT that the Miami Dolphins have indeed signed Ocho to a one-year contract. One would have assumed that it was a veteran minimum $925,000 deal that would count as only $540,000 against the salary cap.
But, a league source tells PFT that it actually has a “multi-million-dollar incentive package.”
If he focuses, he can be a starter for the Dolphins opposite Brian Hartline. Davone Bess is absolutely the slot guy, and his only other competition would be Legadu Naanee and rookie B.J. Cunningham.
