Millwood has to leave no-no with injury
Well, this sucks. Seattle Mariners ace (not really) Kevin Millwood had pitched six no-hit innings against their fiercest rival, the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday night.
That sounds great, and it is. However, Millwood couldn’t make it out of the seventh-inning warmups and to exit with an undisclosed injury.
That blows.
We’d feel much worse for Millwood if it was his first no hitter. It wasn’t. In April of 2003 he threw a no-no for the Philadelphia Phillies. At that time, he played for the Philadelphia Phillies.
Stay tuned on the severity of his injury.
