Wallace won’t sign RFA tender and ain’t getting traded

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Mike Wallace is a restricted free agent and has been tendered as such. However, Wallace and his agent are putting it out there that he isn’t going to sign the tender and he isn’t going to report to OTA’s without a long-term contract.

So that begs the question: will someone trade for him?

It’s a logical question, but only if the Steelers would be willing to play ball. And according to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Wallace isn’t going anywhere.

Bouchette knows this team as well as anyone in the media, so we trust him. The truth is, the Steelers have no reason to trade him. So, we’ll be watching this stalemate unfold as OTA’s approach. Let’s see who blinks first.
