Weber slams Zetterberg’s head into boards after Game 1 (video)
Well this isn’t good. With less than a minute remaining in Game 1 on the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Nashville Predators held a 3-2 lead over the Detroit Red Wings.
After the puck was dropped, Nashville killed the time on the clock to hold on and take a commanding 1-0 lead in the series.
Except there was one big problem at the end: Defensman Shea Weber decided to viciously ram Henrik Zetterberg’s head into the boards a few times. It looks pretty awful and we’d have to think that the NHL league office won’t appreciate this.
If Weber is suspended, that’s a big hit to the Predators. Hope the incident was worth it for him.
