V-Jax to the Bucs close to “a done deal”

Yay! It’s time for NFL free agency and things are already off to a hot start, especially with the wide receivers. We mentioned earlier that the Chicago Bears got their hands on Brandon Marshall from the Miami Dolphins.

Now, sources tell Stephen Holder of the Tampa Bay Times that San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Jackson is close to signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“Sources saying Vincent Jackson to Bucs close to done deal. Awaiting more confirmation,” Holder tweets.

He’s really the only true No. 1 wide receiver on the market at this point and it would be huge if the Bucs could pair him with Mike Wiliams.
