Harrison goes off on Commissioner Goodell

We mentioned previously that Pittsburgh Steelers LB James Harrison ripped into his QB over his Super Bowl performance, but we apparently missed the real show. He absolutely lays into Commissioner Roger Goodell in the same interview with Men’s Journal.

“If that man was on fire and I had to piss to put him out, I wouldn’t do it,” Harrison said. “I hate him and will never respect him.”

Nice.

But, he wasn’t done. He used a few other choice words to describe Goodell, including “stupid,” “puppet,” “dictator” and he even threw in an anti-gay slur.

That should cure a little lockout boredom, huh? The NFL has already said that they won’t be responding to his statement. We would LOVE to be in the room the first time Goodell and Harrison run into each other.

-”Hey James, how are the kids?”

-”Good, good.”

-”Hey, not to change the subject, but remember when you called me a faggot?”

How do you respond to that? And let’s not forget that Harrison pretty much has a-hole written all over him. Forget all the illegal hits and inflammatory comments, remember he was arrested in 2008 and charged with assaulting his girlfriend.

We actually thank him for giving us some entertainment during this football-less period.
