Reds’ Leake arrested on theft charges

It’s not everyday that you hear about someone stealing $60 worth of t-shirts when they make about $425,000 a year. But that’s exactly what happened today when Cincinnati Red pitcher Mike Leake was arrested at a local Macy’s.

He was arrested after he was stopped by Macy’s employees, who said that he was trying to get off with $59.88 worth of merchandise. Moron.

At this point, no more details of his arrest are available. His crime is a misdemeanor and carries a maximum of jail term of 180 days.

Leake is 2-0 with a 5.40 ERA this season in three starts.
