Worst miss in soccer history? (video)

This is pretty awful. How long will it take Marlon de Jesus of Ecuador’s Under-20 team to forget this one?

You really couldn’t ask for an easier goal, and 99% of the world’s population could have probably made it. It would have bounced off of Stephen Hawking’s wheelchair and found a way in. Christopher Reeves could have rolled to the ground and had it deflect off of his head and in. An over-zealous Golden Retriever could have tried to reach out and bite the ball and had it squirt out of his mouth….and into the goal.

What’s worse? It was the 88th minute of a 1-1 game!
