Dana Carvey as Tom Brokaw breaking Gerald Ford’s death

This is the best. It took a while to find video of it on the web that I could embed, but I finally did. This is a sketch from SNL in 1996 where Dana Carvey plays Tom Brokaw.

Of course, this is before Gerald Ford actually died (is he dead now? Anyone know?). If you haven’t seen this, it’s a must watch. It could be Carvey’s greatest impression.

Brokaw has to cover his bases should Gerald Ford die while Brokaw is spending the winter in Barbados. You’ll never hear the name Gerald Ford the same again. Tom Brokaw is now exceptionally entertaining to watch as well.
