Celebrate important missed World Cup penalty kicks
By now, you’ve surely heard about the misfortunes of Ghana in this World Cup. After a great run in the tournament, they were seconds from squaring off against Uruguay in penalty kicks. But then Luis Saurez intentionally handled the ball on the goal line to prevent a last minute goal in the….well…last minute.
So that meant that Asamoah Gyan, who had already made two penalty kicks in the World Cup, only had to put one more away. Make the PK and Ghana heads to the semifinals (probably for the first time ever, but that’s just a guess).
Well, he missed it. And you can relive that right here:
But he’s not the first person to miss a very important kick in the World Cup, and he won’t be the last. Remember Italian star Roberto Baggio? Yeah, this penalty kick miss in 1994 sealed the win for Brazil. Not just to win that game, but this was in the final for all the marbles.
You can relive that here:
It’s so amazing the number of cards shown in this world cup final. It’s actually more than then number of one of the team players.

This is a really good read for me. Must admit that you are one of the coolest bloggers I ever saw. Thanks for posting this informative article.
Could I make a suggestion? I believe youve got one thing great here. However what if you added a few links to a web page that backs up what you are stating? Or perhaps you can give us something to look at, one thing that would connect what youre expressing to some thing tangible? Just a suggestion.
Cool, you’ll find really some excellent points on this post some of my readers might come across this relevant, I’ll send a link, thank you.
Searching for this for quite a while now – i figure chance is much more progressive than search engines…
I should say, as much as I enjoyed reading what you had to express, I couldnt support but lose interest following a while. Its as if you had a good grasp on the subject matter, but you forgot to include your readers. Perhaps you must consider this from a lot more than one particular angle. Or maybe you shouldnt generalise so very much. Its greater if you think about what others may have to say rather than just going for any gut reaction for the topic. Think about adjusting your own believed process and giving other people who may possibly read this the benefit from the doubt.
